Help Guide

For Page Titles:

  • Keep it relevant: only include words and phrases that actually appear on the page.
  • Put the most important keywords near the beginning.
  • Keep it natural – avoid keyword stuffing.
  • Each page should have its own unique title so Google knows what it’s about.
  • Think of it as your “headline” in search results.

For Meta Descriptions:

  • This is often the first thing people read about your site in Google – treat it like an advert.
  • Summarise what’s on the page in clear, natural language.
  • Tempt readers to click by highlighting benefits, unique selling points, or a call to action.
  • Avoid copying the page title – give extra context instead.
  • Keep it consistent with the actual content of the page (Google may ignore it if it doesn’t match).
