Kontrolit SEO Audit Mini-Crawler

Enter a domain and we’ll crawl the sitemap (or up to X pages) to check titles, meta descriptions, H1 alignment, missing image alt text, and optional PageSpeed lab scores.

How to read this report

Path – the part of the URL after your domain name (e.g. /about-us).
Why it matters: Clear, simple paths help people and search engines understand your site structure.

Title – the blue clickable text that appears in Google search results.
Why it matters: Titles are a big ranking factor and often the first thing people see before clicking.

Meta description – the short summary that appears under the title in search results.
Why it matters: A good description encourages more clicks, even if it doesn’t directly affect rankings.

H1 – the main heading on the page, usually the big title visitors see first.
Why it matters: It tells visitors (and Google) what the page is about and should line up with the title.

Alt text count – how many images on the page are missing descriptions for screen readers and Google.
Why it matters: Alt text improves accessibility and helps images appear in Google Image search.

Performance score – Google’s overall speed score for the page (0–100). Higher is better.
Why it matters: Faster sites rank better and keep visitors from leaving out of frustration.

LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) – how long it takes the main content (like a banner or headline) to show.
Why it matters: This is one of Google’s Core Web Vitals — a slow LCP hurts rankings and user experience.

Duplicates – whether more than one page uses the same title, description or H1.
Why it matters: Duplicate content confuses search engines about which page to rank, so unique text is best.

Grade – an overall rating (A+ to F) based on how many issues were found across the site.
Why it matters: Gives you a quick sense of site health and whether it needs light touch-ups or serious fixes.
