After great feedback from partners and customers over the last few months, we have decided to split the document manager up into the different modules / site sections, all of which are now found under the content menu. This means that when you want to insert a news article, you go to the "News" menu option under the content menu. Likewise, if you wanted to insert a Blog entry you would go to the "Blog" menu option under the content menu.
The benefit of splitting out the content menu into the different sections, also allows us the ability to lock down the admin panel per section. For example, if the site administrator wanted to set a user up to only have access to edit the news section, they will now be able to create a user role for this purpose. This means that the website owners have far greater flexibility over what control they give to their different members of staff.
