New Module - Paid Events

Paid Events is an extension of the standard events module, but now allows:

• Get paid for your events quickly and easily - event bookings can now take credit card payments at time of booking
• Make it easier for visitors to find the same events that are run on different times - events can be grouped so you can see all future occurrences of similar events
• Control your bookings - Event venues can have a maximum number of spaces available
• Allow for special events that can take extra bookings - For each event you can override the venue spaces available
• Keep track of offline bookings - You can insert an "number of places booked offline" per event

Easier to use admin panel

After great feedback from partners and customers over the last few months, we have decided to split the document manager up into the different modules / site sections, all of which are now found under the content menu. This means that when you want to insert a news article, you go to the "News" menu option under the content menu. Likewise, if you wanted to insert a Blog entry you would go to the "Blog" menu option under the content menu.

Lock down admin panel access per section

The benefit of splitting out the content menu into the different sections, also allows us the ability to lock down the admin panel per section. For example, if the site administrator wanted to set a user up to only have access to edit the news section, they will now be able to create a user role for this purpose. This means that the website owners have far greater flexibility over what control they give to their different members of staff.
