The Code

We have written the code from the base up using best practice guidelines and popular programming patterns. All of our client site code is standards compliant with the W3C guidelines. This allows search engines such as Google to easily crawl your web site and improve the website’s performance. It also means your web site will render consistently across all the major browsers.

Backups

• All Kontrolit sites are automatically backed up on a daily basis – more frequent options are available on request
• Backups are rotated over a 35 day period

Infrastructure

• Kontrolit.net runs a server farm – thus we have multiple web servers available to host web sites. So all files can be transferred to backup servers at short notice maintaining high availability for your site at any one time
• All Kontrolit.net servers use high specification machines that include raid hard disks, dual processors, redundant power supplies and multiple network interfaces
• Kontrolit.net servers use external monitoring which will send messages to support staff mobile phones in the event of a critical failure
• All Kontrolit sites are monitored by email during office hours (outside of these hours site email monitoring is on a best efforts basis)
• Kontrolit.net have placed their server farm in Telehouse London which is a level 3 data centre
